Marianne Aublet is a French artist born in Nîmes in 1948. She is the granddaughter of the Orientalist painter Albert Aublet and the daughter of the designer and architect Félix Aublet. She inherited a rich artistic family tradition. She studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Marseille and the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where she specialised in interior design.

Throughout her career, Marianne Aublet has explored various art forms, including painting, drawing and printmaking. She honed her engraving skills at Atelier 17 in Paris, a renowned workshop founded by William Hayter, where many celebrated artists such as Picasso and Miró also worked.
Her work is characterised by a bold use of colour and dynamic composition, often created using mixed media such as acrylics, pastels and ink. She has exhibited her work in numerous galleries in France and abroad, including solo shows at Galerie Félix Frachon in Brussels and Galerie James Mayor in Paris.

In addition to her career as an artist, Ms. Aublet has helped to organise exhibitions of primitive art at Galerie Michel Huguenin and co-founded an interior design company, Althée International, with her sister Martine Aublet. Marianne Aublet's work is held in a number of private and institutional collections, including the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris. Her influence on the art world continues.
