Arnaud Rochard, born in 1986 in France, is a contemporary artist known for his interdisciplinary work encompassing engraving, painting, and drawing. He graduated from the École Européenne Supérieure d’Art de Bretagne and has been recognized for his unique artistic approach that blends various techniques and materials.

Rochard's work often explores themes of nature and freedom, characterized by a mix of wild, dark imagery and romantic mythological elements. His techniques include linocut and oil on canvas, ceramics, and xylography, often creating intricate, layered compositions that reflect a deep engagement with the history of decorative arts.

His artistic process is likened to craftsmanship, where he combines different temporalities and styles to create complex visual narratives. This approach is evident in his various exhibitions, such as "La mer des Hystoires," which showcases his skill in assembling and compiling fragments into cohesive works that juxtapose different genres and scales.

Rochard has received several accolades for his work, including the DRAC Pays de Loire creation grant in 2018 and the Pierre Cardin Prize for engraving from the Académie des Beaux Arts in 2019.
